The DrK's Cabbage Chicken Soup Diet

DrK’s Cabbage Chicken Soup Diet has a plan which reportedly enables you to lose 14-20 pounds within 2 weeks.  Additionally, the maintenance program will assist you in losing weight a little at a time as well as preventing the weight for returning.  Slow weight loss will be more easily maintained.

With this program, the plan is to decide what your weight should be.  After that decide what your correct calorie intake will be.  This is accomplished by figuring 10 calories per pound as the amount of daily calories you will intake.  For example, if your weight goal is 140 pound, you would multiply 140 by 10 and your calorie intake would be 1400 calories per day.

Buy all of your snacks and meals up ahead of time to keep from going into the supermarket hungry.  If you do this you will quickly go off your diet.

On the diet you can eat meat and cook it in any fashion except do not use catsup.  You can use barbecue sauce.  You are allowed to use garlic, pepper, hot sauce, vanilla, cinnamon, or lemon juice.  Once you reach the maintenance part of the diet you can begin using vitamins once a day.

It is not suggested for anyone to stay on the cabbage chicken soup diet for more than three to four consecutively, at one time.  This is because the soup doesn’t contain a lot of the nutritional substances that you need and you cannot take vitamins and minerals through this portion of the diet plan.

There is no way you can become dehydrated because you drink at least 5-6 glasses of water daily, plus the fact that you will be drinking soup and other liquids constantly through out this diet.

On the third day, you can have skim mild and bananas in your diet.  You can not use sweeteners or substitutes for sweeteners.  You can use foods such as apple sauce, yogurts and fruit yogurts, steamed greens, broiled fish, acorn squash, and no-oil salad dressings.  For flavorings you can try the non-fat Butter Buds and non-fat cheese.

During your DrK’s Cabbage Chicken Soup Diet you will have to exercise a daily basis or at least every other day.  Walking is also suggested on a daily basis for about 45-60 minutes for both mental and physical wellness.  A vigorous walk can burn about 400 calories.  Also include aerobics for about 45-90 minutes each day.  It will help you to keep losing weight.

For maintenance purposes you should walk for at least 30 minutes every other day.  Also for maintenance you have to stay with the caloric intake of 10 calories for each pound that you wish to weigh.  (You want to weight 130 so 130 x 10 equals 1300 calories per day).
